About Our Sex Ed and Relationships Programs

I loved the Circles program. It was easily modified to meet the diverse needs of all my students.

The Circles Program is great. At my last district we started teaching the circle in elementary. By the time the students reached Jr. High they were very familiar with the terms so we could move right into the skills.

I have really found [Circles] useful and provides a generalization of standards that can be taken home, discussed and modified for the needs of my kids. Parents are very grateful.
- Joyce Hutchinson

I have been using the Circles Curriculum since 1993 and it is still an invaluable resource for teaching students social skills. The visuals and the way the Curriculum make the teaching of the social skills is concrete and easy for the students to understand. It also leads into generalization into community and vocational settings.
- – Jennifer Bosanko, Teacher, Everett, WA

We are currently using the Circles curriculum with a PDD student and we see how interested he is. Helping him to think before he acts out. He is in a stage where his wish is to understand what he needs to do to bring the girl he likes into his blue circle.
- Avraham Nirith, Therapist, Newton, MA

I found it to be very beneficial and would like to purchase the Circles Curriculum for my current employment.

Observed a special education teacher teaching a class of 12 students ages 21+ using the Circles curriculum. EVERY student was engaged and every student has a developmental disability.
- Connie Egleston, Teacher, Cherry Creek School District, Littleton, CO

I have used the Circles program with my severely challenged students as well as higher functioning students. ALL are interested when the tape plays and participate in discussions. We use the individual circle diagrams to go along with the video and role-play. They bring pictures from home and we take pictures to complete their individual circles and then they take them homely I strongly believe that participating in this program helped a student of mine report that she was being sexually abused by a member of her family. I have taught over 20 years and this is one of the best programs for my students.
- Jerri Chronister, Teacher, Greenwood, AZ

Thought the Circles Curriculum was well done and very useful.
- Molly, Teacher, Rochester, NY

I really enjoyed using the Circles program, I believe that it teaches children how to be self advocates in a way that is non threatening to them, I also think it is a great way to teach boundaries to students who do not understand boundaries.
- Christina Humphreys, Teacher, Riverton, WY

About the Life Horizons Programs:

Life Horizons I and II were very effective tools in instructing my clients, who are adults with mental retardation.
- Kim Morgan, Counselor, Highland Hills

I used Life Horizons I & II at the high school level for years with success. Now I am trying to incorporate it into my lessons with middle level CD students. I like the versatility of the slides. They allow me to choose which topics are appropriate and meet the needs of student goals.
- Linda Henry, Teacher, Sheboygan Falls Middle School

About The GYN Exam:

We didn’t anticipate how much we would be relying on these three programs. There are not enough female staff members in our agency (we are a day treatment program) to meet with each new client that comes in and provide this sort of education. Instead, we show the video to small groups and then we meet with the girls for one-to-one counseling sessions if necessary.
- Roberta Greenstate, MSW

About the Changes in You Program:

Peggy Siegel makes a great contribution to the critically important topic of sexuality education for young, special learners. I highly recommend the package [Changes In You].
