Course Details

Teach your male students the basics of good grooming. Clear, step-by-step demonstrations of people skills such as essential male grooming practices that promote social approval and health.

Grooming Part 1: Grooming for Males will teach your students with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and emotional challenges, the nuts and bolts of good male grooming. This Module features our dental consultant, Dr. Steven Subject, DDS who motivates students to care for their teeth by emphasizing the relationship between good dental care and “kissable” breath. Also featured is our medical consultant, Dermatologist Gary Novatt, MD, who helps students separate fact from fiction and TV hype from really good hygiene. With simple, down-to-earth language, humorous sketches, and clear, step-by-step demonstrations, your male students will learn:

  • The meaning of grooming
  • The impact grooming has in making a good “first impression”
  • The basics of hair care
  • And More!

Using Humor to Teach Social Skills

Humor = Retention

We believe you learn best when you laugh. By making the classroom experience more comfortable and enjoyable, humor can make teaching and learning more effective, especially for the K12 segment. At Stanfield, we use humor as an integral part of our curricula.

If you as a speaker don’t help your audience to remember your lessons, then you’re wasting everyone’s time. Humor… can help accomplish that needed retention…
