The program organizes essential job, social, and emotional skills into a small group of the most important behaviors. Experts have found that a small group of the most critical behaviors or skills in any hierarchical grouping are usually all that need to be mastered for someone to be considered smart or competent. JobSmart will teach your students what experts consider to be the most important WORK Do’s and Don’ts. In each program, students discover the most important behaviors related to not finding a job, and what to do instead. These behaviors are presented in two modules with 6 stand-alone video segments.
JobSmart sets the bar for teaching job & SEL skills to students with developmental disabilities. These acclaimed programs use VideoModeling to cover everything today’s students need to know about landing a job, from interview conduct and self-presentation skills, to keeping that job by getting along with the boss and co-workers.
Students will remember these job skills because they’re reinforced with the famous NotSmart/JobSmart scenarios that vividly and graphically show students how wrong one can go in the workplace — and how to get it right.
