How Stanfield Works

A simple, step-by-step guide for school administrators, teachers, and students. Get up and running in minutes.

Everyone Has a Clear Path

Stanfield is designed around three user types. Click any card to jump to the step-by-step guide.

School Administrators

Set up teacher accounts, assign program licences, and track student outcomes across your school.

Teachers

Browse programs, play videos in class, assess student progress, and create custom playlists.

Students

Join with a simple PIN — no accounts, no emails, no personal information needed.

Getting Started

Select your role to see the steps that apply to you.

1

Sign In to Your Admin Account

Go to stanfield.com and click Institution in the header. Sign in with the credentials from your welcome email. If you don't have an account yet, click Sign Up to create one.

2

Invite Your Teachers

From the Manage page, enter a teacher's email and click Invite. They'll receive a signup link. You can also share a direct invite link for bulk onboarding.

Tip: Every school admin should also have a matching teacher account so they can experience the platform from the teacher's perspective.
3

Assign Program Licences

Click the Licences button next to any teacher's name. You'll see all programs your school has purchased. Click Assign to give a teacher access — the program will immediately appear on their Dashboard.

4

Assign Plus Features (Optional)

If your school has a Plus subscription, assign it to teachers for access to premium tools: digital curriculum guides (Pro), AI lesson plan generator, Spark AI assistant, and IEP goal writer (Premium).

5

Monitor Progress

Use the Caseload page to view assessment data across all teachers and classrooms. Export reports to CSV for district reporting, IEP documentation, or compliance records.

Tip: Click "Classroom" in the sidebar to sign in as any teacher and see exactly what they see.
1

Sign In to Your Account

Click Instructors in the header and sign in. If your school admin invited you, use the link from your invitation email to create your account first.

2

Explore Your Dashboard

Your Dashboard shows all programs you've been licensed for, organized by category. Click any program to browse its videos, lesson plans, and activities.

3

Add Students to Your Roster

Go to Students in the sidebar and add student names. You only need a display name — no email addresses or personal information required. This keeps things simple and FERPA/COPPA compliant.

4

Share Your Student PIN

Your classroom has a unique Student Join PIN shown on your Dashboard. Share it with students so they can join at stanfield.com/join and start watching videos.

5

Assess Student Progress

From any activity page, click the Assess button. Rate each student on four domains — Understanding, Engagement, Independence, and Generalization — using a 1–5 scale. Assessments build up over time to show trends.

Tip: Use the Caseload page for a bird's-eye view of all students across all your classrooms, and export reports to PDF or CSV for IEP meetings.
6

Create Playlists (Optional)

Build custom sequences of videos and activities and assign them to your entire class or specific students. Use Present mode to play through a playlist on a projector during class.

1

Go to the Join Page

Open a browser and go to stanfield.com/join. No account creation needed.

2

Enter the Classroom PIN

Type in the PIN your teacher gave you and click Join.

3
